One chair.

I made a deconstructive chair, but I didn't recycle used chairs. Instead, I planned to disassemble this chair before even making it. A normal boxy chair was divided into four pieces by four strips. In this project, I challenged the definition of 'a' chair. Is one chair necessarily to be one whole piece? 4 consists of four individual parts. They are together as a whole, but each one can work independently. You can sit on one, two, three or four, and the rest can act as a table, a coat, hanger or whatever users want them to be. In terms of colour, I was inspired by traditional Chinese wardrobe and liquor room divider. Black and red are the only colours I used - red covers the outer surfaces while the 'dividing surface' was painted in black, indicating the chair was once an entirety and then separated.
