IN-BETWEEN

Duplicate. Deform. Deconstruct.

Inspiration

I was shocked by a deformed teapot due to lack of desiccating time that was made for display during the ceramic workshop induction. It immediately reminded me of COMME des GARCONS Spring/Summer 1997 collection.

By naming the collection IN-BETWEEN, I meant to construe my perception of deconstruction, as these vases are contradictory, and they are in-between perfect/imperfect, designed/random, complete/incomplete, regular/irregular.
